The rich heritage of India attracts lakhs of tourists every year. Classical dances, architecture, folk music, rich art, festivals, flora fauna, are some of the examples of India’s heritage. But India seen during some months of travel is not entire India, there is so much more to it.

During crop season you will see various small and big festivals being celebrated throughout India. It is not possible for a person to witness all the enchanting moments that take place in India. Every Indian state has its own food, they have its own famous cloth and historical monuments. Being in India and walking down its street is like taking a walk through history. Every old building and every brick in that building has seen changes happening in this world year after year. Even if humans do not remember anymore, these monuments will.

India is home to hundreds of tribes and these tribes are still nourishing under its protection. Indians are proud to be a part of a country that has such a diverse culture. India is home to billion of people from different communities but they are still united. Cases of their union can be seen whenever any group faces issues. India comes together and supports each other while providing protection to each other.

Many people see India as the fusion of various different cultures. Throughout the centuries India has gone through various phases. It has also been influenced by strong and powerful cultures that don’t have their roots in India. But overall even though there are some outside cultures India has accepted them as its own and created new ways to keep them alive.

According to Merriam-Webster language is “the words, their pronunciation, and the methods of combining them used and understood by a community”.

But is this all what a language is? Just a method of communication? We believe it’s not! There are various ways in which language brings people together and helps them understand each other’s world. For a person who is mute and dumb, language that involves words has no value. For them, a person who can do sign language is more reliable.

Language is a heritage passed on to generations after generations evolving with time. If you see the Hindi language ten years ago and compare it with the Hindi spoken now, you will realize how much has changed. As time passed by both English and Hindi are getting closer.
